About Chef Nick
Co-founder and Executive Chef Nicholas Schaus, is originally from the Midwest where his work values were clearly defined as a self motivating and passionate man. He is a local culinary graduate from the prestigious ACI in Scottsdale, Arizona. Through his years in the culinary field, he has entered and won nationwide recipe contests and has actively competed and won medals for culinary teams here in Arizona. Nicholas has consulted on restaurants in dire need of menu and revenue changes. He began and has maintained a successful business as a private chef for corporate executives even as he assisted in opening and running restaurants still in existence in the north valley and Cave Creek areas. With his wide culinary knowledge, attitude and work ethic he is continuing to pursue his passion with his new endeavor, Casavino Winery, bringing the elegant class of his world to everyone’s table and event!
